Chef Dave Ciminelli comes up with some truly wacky culinary creations… and we couldn’t wait to try out two of his crazy brunch menu specialties. First, he made us his oreo waffle beignet fusion.
Those strawberries are soaked in strawberry-flavored Belgian beer! And that oreo beignet on top of the waffle… Oh. My. God. Better than the beignets we had in New Orleans. No joke.
Next up, Dave’s twist on chicken and waffles… duck and waffles!
What caught my attention on this one was the breading used on the duck… Fruity Pebbles! I just had to taste it for myself! He also tops this dish with ancho chili syrup – just a little bit of spice!
This was a really fun one to shoot, and Chef Dave totally knocked our socks off. He’s a self-taught chef who isn’t afraid to take risks in the kitchen! Check out the full story tonight at 7:00!
